I shall be AFK for a LONG time

Hey, well I held off posting for a while but here t'is. I applied for the Canadian Army to be in the Infantry a little over a year ago now and unfortunately it was delayed after things were just about done about 7 months ago and I had to wait until about a month ago to start the process again (Safeway is retarded and breaks backs (almost literally in my case).. I knew it would come to bite me in the @$$ someday >.>). Anyways, so I had to re-do my medical, it took a while to get the appointment, then I got merit listed a few days after that, and a few days after that I got a job offer and now in a few days I get sworn in and 2 days after that I'm on a plane to Quebec and two days after "that" my Basic Military Qualification starts.

So yeah, 23rd is my ceremony, 25th is when I fly in dem' birds to St. Jean and 27th is when this starts. I was very busy for the last few days buying everything I needed and packing in general. I "was" hoping to make a last hearty huzzah in competitive gaming before things started but aye, I expected it to be late November to December when I got merit listed.. not that soon. Anyways, so much for running half-marathons before it but my cardio is more htan good enough now.

Aaanyways, I'll be active up until Saturday, all of the preperations are done and I'm just waiting to get enrolled officially and then get over there to start it. I'll take part in "any" scrims that come up just please make sure to tell me specific times we'll be doing that and I'll be on at least a few hours a day practicing on this and I "am" quite good, at least a few matches with 6KD+ and never below 2. I won't be able to leave the base for the first 4 weeks and what I'd like to happen is for me to just be downgraded to an Able Company member. Once the time's up I can still come to internet cafes on weekends. I'll be posting up tons of pictures on facebook and I'll keep everyone here posted as well lol. I "should" be able to get time to go out to internet cafes between training but considering my BMQ is 14 weeks and the rest of my training is of similar length that may be short and fairly rare.

Well wish me luck! I will be sour if my iPod gets taken lol, that's something I'll be willing to sacrafice for the better good however lol.
